Yesterday we had SO much fun meeting new vendors and hanging out at the amazing venue, The Winfield Inn! Open Houses are such a great opportunity for brides to meet “tried and true” vendors and we were so honored to be included! The Winfield Inn has so many great qualities brides are looking for, from the beautiful grounds of the property to amazing staff.  The food tastings were OUT OF THIS WORLD {still drooling over the salmon}, and the floral arrangements were absolutely breathtaking and unique.

The Winfield Inn sits on 30 acres of some epic live oak trees along with its stunning vintage mansion. As a photographer, my favorite part of this venue is LIGHT. From the ample natural window light in the home for pre-ceremony photos, to the sun peaking through the trees, gorgeous light EVERYWHERE. I love that their reception area is covered, but completely open, leaving lots of opportunity to use the available light during cocktail hour/reception; but the vintage chandeliers hanging from the vaulted ceilings set an amazing ambiance. Laura and Breanna, The venue managers are so great at keeping the place running smoothly and the guests and vendors happy, and trust me, those who run behind the scenes are the backbone!

Bouquets of Austin lended their talented hand at decorating the rustic tables and it was so neat to pick their brains as they have been in the industry for 20 years and do 200+ events each year! I have captured their beautiful arrangements many times over the last few years and it was nice to finally meet the artist! Check out her beautiful creations and all last nights greatness below!

Every wedding is amazing, truly the love shared by each couple willing to fully commit themselves to one another is beautiful. Renee and Marks Wedding at Pecan Springs Ranch was no different, except it was our final wedding of 2016! 2016 was our busiest year yet ( hopefully 2017 will be even busier ) with 54 weddings photographed and 54 amazing couples love stories being shared with the world. We started vlogging and blogging more and honestly we hope that we can continue to provide our clients and our community with amazing experiences and photographs that represent who they are at the core.

Renee and Mark truly loved each other and I could tell with how they interacted that they were meant for each other. Every couple is different and Nina had a blast pulling emotion out of Renee. She is a total introvert and I remember Nina telling her ” I’m going to have fun with you, you totally hate the camera!” I think its honest dialog, with a hint of laughter, that brings out those images that everyone wants of themselves. A giant flask made an appearance throughout the day and it had some stellar cameos, and I have to mention the bright pink stretch limo that the grooms friends rented for the evening…priceless! WE ALSO VLOGGED this day, and you can find the video right before the images to get the “Tank Goodness” Experience (ha.)

Lindsay from In Her Shoes Coordination was absolutely a BLAST to work with and she made sure the day ran smoothly and every little detail was perfect for these two. The Flower Girl killed it bringing these winter jewel tones to life with their simple yet stunning arrangements and Live Oak DJ kept everyone dancing. It’s because of amazing vendors that this day went off without a hitch!

I love engagement sessions. They are such a great way for us to connect with our couple and make the wedding day that much easier. With Kris and Nolan, their session was so much fun that we know their wedding is going to a blast! It was like we had been friends for a long time, although they drove in from out of town, and I think their love shines through in these images!

When I first saw we were shooting at Spinelli’s I was so excited! They have a really unique venue, though its  a restaurant it encompasses everything a good venue needs. A romantic ceremony site, great shrubbery for portraits and a dance floor! To go along with such a cool place, was an equally amazing couple. Sandra and James are my kind of people. Laid back, down to earth and just ready to have a good time and a good time we had! These images come as close as we can get to showcasing the true love and fun attitudes this couple lives with every day.

A huge thanks to all of the amazing vendors
