These bridals took place at The Texas Transportation Museum in San Antonio. Kelsie has to be one of the sweetest brides I have ever met. Not only was she extremely easy going but she and I had a similar vision when it came to her bridals. We both liked the idea of using train tracks so when I threw out the idea of the Texas Transportation Museum she was ecstatic. With a few emails we had permission and they were even kind enough to open it for us during off hours. I cant thank them enough for their kindness and I highly recommend any bride looking for a similar style shoot to head over to their site.

It is an amazing museum, filled with old train cars, old automobiles and great information on how it was to travel back in the 50’s and 60’s. The train cars look like they just came out of a time warp and it fit Kelsie perfectly. Starting any shoot within the last two hours of day light is key, natural light can be your best friend or worst enemy. The light on this particular day was absolutely beautiful and we even got some great sunset clouds in a few shots. Photography is delicate when it comes to lighting. Placement of your subject, proper white balance, reflectors and flashes all play their role to create beautiful images. I also cant forget to thank Kelsie’s mother who came to help out on the shoot, without her help I dont think I could have captured everything as well as I did. Here are some of our favorites from this shoot. We can not wait to blog their wedding which we were so happy to be a part of this past weekend. We can now say congratulations to Mr and Mrs Fletcher, I am sure he has been waiting to see this shoot as well.
