The Lookout |Dustin & Henrietta|

The Lookout |Dustin & Henrietta|

Fact: This blog post has been sitting in the queue for months and months, waiting to be published. Fact: It took me almost six minutes on google trying to find the word “Que” only to realize I have been spelling it wrong my entire adult life. Fact: One of my favorite parts of this career path is getting to be an intimate part of friends weddings and when Dustin asked us to photograph his wedding we were more than honored. Dustin and I went to high school together and were on the ice hockey team (yes, even in Texas.). Their day at The Lookout was so personalized and special, complete with an entire field of bright yellow wildflowers and his grandfathers vintage truck as their getaway car. I love my career but I love it even more when I get to bless those whom I used to body check on the rink.   Congrats Dustin and Henrietta, you two rocked!

Watson Wedding

Its been way too long since we have posted onto our social networks!! We are at the tail end of a long saga ( story coming soon ) and promise once it all gets completed we will be updating with all of our current work! Until then here are some posts that should also have gone up a long time ago. If you follow our insta stories ( which you should ) we usually forget to keep up all the way, but we hope what we do post is compelling enough for you to keep watching! I think Nina is hilarious, but I might be a bit bias.

I hope you enjoy the wedding of Kayci and Blake, we couldn’t have created such great images without all of the amazing vendors.

San Francisco Engagement Session |Crystal & George|

San Francisco Engagement Session |Crystal & George|

I can’t tell you how much I love to travel, anyone who knows me knows its one of my passions. Not only do I love to travel but I love the city of San Francisco so whenever Crystal and George asked if I would be interested in shooting the engagements there I said of course ( but secretly I jumped for joy inside ). Without questions I couldn’t travel to such a great city and NOT invite my brother in law, he is like a brother to me and I knew he would be a huge help on the shoot. Everything went off without a hitch ( except poor George had just had knee surgery, but he was a trooper ) and I came back with an amazing session and vlog to compliment. Enjoy the shoot!

Rachel Alexander Engagement

Rachel Alexander Engagement

Rachel and Alex are two peas in a pod! Not only are they getting married next year at the amazing Barr Mansion but they chose South Congress for their engagement location and it couldn’t have fit their style more! If you have been following us for any time now you can tell when I ( Travis ) write these posts and when Nina does, so without further bad grammar and run on sentences enjoy these two’s sweet images!

Rock Rose Hall Wedding |Aubrey & Matt|

Rock Rose Hall Wedding |Aubrey & Matt|

I can’t wait to share this wedding with you all! Tracy Collins Events NAILED it for Aubrey and Matthew.  The day started with both parties getting ready at the Westin in the Domain and the most memorable part of the day was when Matthew showed me the pins that the men were going to wear on their suits in honor of Aubrey’s sister, which was a complete surprise to the bride. HOW SWEET, YOU GUYS! While the guys struggled to fold their pocket squares, Aubreys mom buttoned her up and shared such sweet moments of their own. The ceremony took place at St. Alberts Catholic Church and it was beautiful…and the priest had quite the personality! I probably took too many pictures of the ring box, but can you blame me? It was so sleek and modern! After the ceremony, we walked around the domain with the wedding party for some portraits and this is the moment I knew summer was here…it was HOT, but they were all such troopers (and they were mostly all from the north!). The reception took place at Rock Rose Hall and my jaw DROPPED when we walked in. Tracy and her team make sure every event is epic and this reception was no different. They mixed metals, blush and navy to bring the room together and THE GOLD CHAIRS absolutely blew my mind! There was a queso bar and Amy’s ice cream was making custom ice cream sandwiches! They had so many personalized goodies for their guests and everyone seemed to enjoy the moscow mules, haha! Thank you to all of the amazing vendors who made their day so special and our job so easy:

Congratulations Aubrey and Matthew, it was an honor to be part of your special day!

San Antonio Engagement Session | Jett and Hanna |

San Antonio Engagement Session | Jett and Hanna |

Jett and Hanna are the couple every photographer loves to shoot. They are charismatic, energetic and just fun to be around so of course their shoot turned out just as great as they are. We decided on the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio because of course we like to have a beer ( or two ) but also the business park they have built there is something you would expect from Denver. Their wedding is coming up early next year and it can’t come sooner! If their wedding is anything like this session, it will definitely be featured on this blog.
