I have said it before, and I will say it again. There is never a dull moment in this industry and my favorite part of this “job” is not only getting to experience and capture the best day in a couples life, but getting to experience different cultures and customs. No two weddings are ever the same and there is never a dull moment when shooting. Alas, this awesome couple got married at the AT&T center in downtown Austin, TX. We have shot at this venue quite a few times and the lighting is just so surreal. The brides quarters has an entire wall of never ending window light and the up-lighting in the ballroom really sets the mood.
Because Travis went to India last year to film a documentary, he was well aware of such ceremonies but I was in awe of the experience and just soaked it all in! Very cool to watch! They also did a traditional ceremony making for a variety of photos.
Their reception was so much fun and we LOVED the music that was played. Zarin’s cousins performed a surprise dance and I almost had a hard time taking pictures because I was too busy watching, ha!
