This beautiful wedding took place at The Wildflower Barn & Chapel Dulcinea. This wedding was a perfect introduction into the fall wedding season! The lace and warm twinkle lights really set the tone for this sweet couple. These two venues are conveniently located within a few minutes of each other and really compliment one another. The Wildflower Barn is a festively rustic outdoor venue shaded by majestic oaks. Only five miles away sits this little jewel with an amazing view of Austin, TX- Chapel Dulcinea! It wasn’t until this wedding that I found out that Chapel Dulcinea is completely free to use.. I have admired many photos captured at this charming chapel and I was so stoked to finally shoot there myself. The weather, along with too many autumn weddings, was a little fickle and sprinkled throughout the day. By sunset, the clouds parted and the heavens gifted us with some awesome sun flare…a perfect contrast to the storm clouds we captured earlier at their ceremony.
I loved the reception taking place in the barn and boy did their family & friends get down! Everyone danced until the DJ packed his bags and their timeline gave us ample amount of time to try out some new sparkler techniques! Honestly, I wish I could take credit for these amazing photos but it was Travis (yes, the man who has the least legible handwriting…ever) who wowed me with his sudden talent with sparklers, ha! Angie and David were our little guinea pigs and were so patient with us. Can I take this moment to give a shoutout to their scrumptious cupcakes and amazing cowboy boot tequila bottle? The night came to a close with a sparkler exit which truly was a great ending to a beautiful day with an awesome couple!
