Guys we have been hogging so many good blogs to finally put together and publish now that the crazy wedding season has passed!
These two….a combination of the most chill bride and “smiley” groom (like seriously, so smiley). James and Michele had such beautiful wedding at Mercury Hall in Austin, TX and I am so happy we could capture it.
Mercury Hall has amazing stained glass windows inside their reception hall and partnered with the original hardwood floors, luscious green grounds, it’s no wonder these two chose this venue for their September nuptials (and the weather was absolutely PERFECT.) While the girls got their hair and make up done at a near-by hotel, Michele put her dress on at the venue. If you have the choice, putting your dress on at the ceremony location (unless it be the “toddler room” at a church) is always the best option and typically has the best lighting. Mercury hall has this lovely antique chair that I love to shoot bouquets on and it totally complimented her blooms!
Their ceremony was “simple romantic chic” and was perfect for an outdoor wedding. The lace curtains really drew you into the space and put all of your attention on the couple (and it was so fun to use during their portraits after!) Y’ALL, LOOK AT JAMES’ FACE WHEN SHE IS WALKING DOWN THE ISLE…LOOK AT IT. He was completely enamored with her, and when you zoom in, you see all the happy tears. You could literally see her take his breath away, and moments like this just never get old:
