As I type, the sun in shining, it’s just days away from April, but I couldn’t come back from my blogging hiatus without recapping this beautiful wedding from the very last day of 2018! It was a crisp sunny day in Horseshoe Bay that took place at a family lake house (cue me asking to be adopted.) The space was completely transformed into a wedding venue, adorned with sequin table cloths, gorgeous arrangements (floral and balloon, y’all.), and probably the best food we inhaled last year.
Ashlee was a sight to see, her long sleeved gown and classic updo was timeless and truly captured her personality to a tee. The moment Cody saw her, he couldn’t stop looking at her and their “first look” was so special. The long awaited embrace when he turned around….I can’t. They Tied the knot above their boat lift, but you would never know the way it was decorated…seriously not one detail was overlooked. After the vows, the sun was long gone but we took some amazing portraits using the fireplace by the pool and among the endless twinkle lights. All of their guests rang in the new year, hats and noisemakers in tow, and popped confetti at midnight, making that image my favorite from the year. What a spectacular way to ring in 2019! Three months later, I still have gold confetti in my lens bag, ha!
This day was possible by all of these amazing vendors, check them out for wedding day inspiration:
